As Counsel to Kopel & Spinner, LLP, Aaron Schlusselberg is responsible for attending closings as lender’s attorney and drafting loan and ancillary documents for purchases, refinances, and lines of credit on coops, condos, and residential real property, primarily for Private Bank clients. He also reviews corporate documents and trust agreements.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Schlusselberg was Special Assistant District Attorney in the Mortgage Fraud and Real Estate Crimes Unit of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where he assisted in complex investigations into allegations of deed and mortgage fraud from inception through trial. While in law school, he interned for the General Counsel of a real estate operating company and was a law clerk at a mid-size Manhattan law firm where he obtained experience in litigation, tax, trusts & estates, and real estate.
Mr. Schlusselberg earned his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law with a Real Estate Concentration after graduating from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University with a B.S. in Finance. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
