Founding Member & President, General Counsel, Sutton Alliance   Sutton Alliance founding member Scott Spinner’s expertise in large complex commercial transactions and other legal matters relating to underwriting makes him uniquely qualified for his role as the Chief Underwriting Counsel. As General Counsel of the Company, Mr. Spinner also oversees the daily operations of Sutton’s legal and escrow departments where he is responsible for developing and safeguarding the company’s internal compliance and audit programs. Mr. Spinner joined the company with an impressive background that included positions as Senior Underwriting Counsel with three of the nation’s largest title insurance companies: Nations Title Insurance Company, TRW Title Insurance Company of New York, and Fidelity Title Insurance Company. He later founded Knight Abstract Corporation, which in 1995, became a member of the Sutton Alliance group of companies. Mr. Spinner has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1985. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University of New York, Albany with a B.S. in Business Administration. << Back to Bios Page
